Suggested topics (from Jan)

The purpose of these 'end days' is to discuss certain topics in greater depth than can be achieved during the regular workshop. Ideally, the topics should already have come up during the regular talks.

Some suggestions:

  • application of image-plane effects (forward and/or backward)
  • dynamic range: propagation of M.E. errors into the final image.

separation of structure with different signatures

  • equations and unknowns: do we have enough information (data)

to solve for the M.E. parameters?

  • Transient detection:

relative merits of doing it in the uv-plane or the image-plane

  • source extraction from residual images
