Written directions from Cape Town Airport

Take N2 freeway towards the city centre (travelling west towards mountains). Pass big cooling towers on the right hand side after about 6km. A further 2 km down the road, proceed under the bridge about 200m past exit 10A and take the offramp marked as 10B (Pinelands/Raapenberg Road). Proceed straight on over the traffic lights and railway bridge into Forest Drive, Pinelands. See below for instructions from Forest Drive.

Take N2 towards airport. Take Pinelands offramp to the left. Obligatory left turn at end of offramp. Proceed through traffic lights and over railway bridge into Forest Drive, Pinelands. See below for instructions from Forest Drive.

Directions once on Forest Drive heading away from mountain (East)

Forest Drive is the main road through the suburb of Pinelands. Starting from the traffic lights at the railway bridge at the mountain side of Pinelands, proceed 1.8 km (passing through another set of traffic lights with BP garage on left) until you reach Lonsdale Road which is the last road on the right immediately before the traffic lights at Howard's Centre. The right turn into Lonsdale Road is also marked with a small sign on the left of Forest Drive for the Howard Bowling Club. Turn right into Lonsdale Road and proceed down for about 200 m. Lonsdale Building is the 2-storey face brick building with a slate tiled roof on the left at the corner Lonsdale Road bends to the left. Lonsdale Building has three gates. Do not turn left into the front of the complex. Rather use the side gate on Lonsdale Road itself (before the bend). Press the SKA / KAT buzzer at the gate. Use a visitors' parking bay or else one marked "SKA / KAT" (failing that, there is street parking around the back of the building).
